Guitar Repair and Upgrade Guide

Have been busy for a while but back and looking to improve the web site. After some research noticed lots of guitar or music websites offer chords, scales, tabs, etc... and that was why i decided to try and introduce exercises, riffs, etc...

Thought a good guitar resource for Guitar and song would be a section where there are some examples of guitar repairs, upgrades, and the basics like changing strings, etc...

Will start work on it soon but if anybody has any requests or questions just add a comment.

Guitar for Beginners

It's always difficult starting something new especially a musical instrument. I started over twenty years ago and because I was self taught and didn't take any lessons it has always been difficult but very rewarding.

That is why I started my own site guitar and song to post up lessons, tips, guitar tabs and exercises that I have learned over the years that others might get some use from too. It also gave me a platform to post my own songs that I had written and recorded over the years at home.

Next was the guitar forum and I aimed that at beginners as I found during my time taking part in some other guitar forums some members didn't have much time for the beginner. It's now just a case of getting members.

New Forum!!!

Not been very active on my blog for some time but I have been setting up a Beginners Guitar Forum on my site. It is starting to grow very very slowly but I know these things can take time. It is aimed at the beginner but all welcome as we need experienced guitarists to help the beginners with questions.

Guitar Exercise and Riffs Up and Running

Finally made a start on all topics in the Guitar Tabs section of my site. I have added a good few warm-up exersices on the Exercise section and made a start on the guitar riffs section with a smoke on the water style riff.

Reviews, Reviews , Reviews,

Finally got over the problems of SPAM on my review section of my site. Had to add captcha to it but worth it. Starting to get some reviews now but very slow, need some more ideas.

The guitar scale tabs and guitar chord tabs are coming along nicely. I was away the past few weeks so unable to update it but back now and added a few more guitar tabs for scales and chords.

The guitar tabs for some useful exercises is my next move. I have about five guitar exercises now and discovered some more useful ones when I was away so will post them up soon.

Guitar Reviews and New Song Tab

Just finished the first part of my review section to my site. Would like to thank Martin, Alfie L and Ian Smith for their reviews the first of many on the site. It took a bit of time to learn the php code to get the review submission part working but its working to a degree at the moment. It’s very basic but its work in progress and hopefully I can make the search feature a little better and should make it so you can upload images of the item being reviewed.

I have also added my version of Wish You Were Here song tab with the intro solo. It’s a good song for beginners and I love playing it as a warm up when I practice.

Finally got my chords updated and some more scales added. Been working on a review section to my site where visitors can add reviews about guitar equipment like guitar amps, guitars, effects and recording equipment. Hope the database will fill up and it can be somewhere for guitarists to see the reviews of other guitar players.
